Meet the Team

I have a background in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting, but decided on a career change after struggling to find a local independent children's shoe shop.

I have been trained by the Society of Shoe Fitters in Shoe fitting and Foot Health.

Currently there is no statutory requirement in the UK to qualify as a shoe fitter and I am only one of a handful of registered members in Gloucestershire working in children's footwear.

I am very happy to check fitting and provide general advice on shoe buying and foot health.

Providing high quality customer service is paramount to me.

Louise joined Groovy2Shoes in July 2013 and has trained extensively with me both in shoe fitting and foot health.

She has also completed the Start-rite training course on shoe fitting.

Louise has since gone on to complete her training with the Society of Shoe Fitters in Shoe fitting and Foot Health.

She has a back ground in childcare and is wonderful with our little customers.

Louise shares my passion for shoe fitting and knows only too well how important a good fitting shoe is having a little girl who suffers with hypermobility.

Rachel joined the team in 2019, she has vast experience working in service provision, having worked in the banking sector and more recently for the National Trust.

Her children are now grown up but she remembers only too well travelling miles to find, good fitting shoes for her tricky to fit children.

Rachel has also trained extensively with Bev. She has also completed the Start-rite training course in shoe fitting.
